My goal as an Independent Financial Advisor is to assist you in the effective protection, accumulation, and distribution of your wealth. Being born and raised in Kaneohe, and having my own business, I often understand and relate to what is important for local families and business owners. After graduation from Castle High School in 2002, I went on to study accounting and finance where I received my B.B.A. Degree in Finance from the Shidler College of Business at UH Manoa in 2008.

Immediately upon graduation, I began my Financial Advisory career at John Hancock. I obtained my life and health insurance license along with Series 6, 63, 65, and 7; allowing me to offer various combinations of insurance and investment solutions. During my tenure at John Hancock, I was fortunate to have received excellent training and guidance from my experienced managers, colleagues, and mentors.

Feeling the need to go out on my own and offer a broader range of products and services, I founded Whitaker Financial Consulting in 2015 with the goal of Offering Unbiased Financial Guidance and Implementation. I will work with you to fully understand your situation and come up with suitable and practical solutions. If I’m unable to provide a solution for whatever reason, I will refer you to qualified professionals who can assist you further. My goal is for you to succeed, even if it’s not utilizing my services.

In my “Free time”, I enjoy stand up paddling, bodyboarding, hiking, and spending time with friends and family. We are active at our church, Pali View Baptist Church, where I sit on the finance committee.

I am also involved with The Caregiver Foundation, which provides a multitude of services for our Kupuna and disabled community here in the Islands.

I chose to be an Independent Financial Advisor because I have:

• Provide a FINANCIAL REPORT which details your situation and shows how to reach your financial goals.
• Implement the advice using a combination of the solutions and COMPANIES REPRESENTED.
• Provide ongoing consultation and updates to your plan as needs change.
• Assist you in the effective: Foundation/Protection, Accumulation, and Distribution of your wealth.
